This will be a fun project where kids can practice an extremely valuable skill — presenting! Everyone will need to address a group of people at some point in their life (and likely at many points), whether it be 1-3 others or a room-full of 30+.
This project will be flexible. There are 8 sessions to choose from and you can attend 1, or all 8, or anything in between. A survey will be sent out to everyone who registers for this project, and you will pick the dates you can attend. Each date will be customized based on the attendees.
I am hoping that every kid in our club signs up for at least 1 session 🙂
Some of the things we may focus on are:
— Preparing for the Alameda County Presentation Day event on March 15
— Working on a project presentation for one of your projects, past or current
— Creating a project presentation for an imaginary project
— Learning about Google Slides and how to make great visuals to support your presentation
— Practicing speaking in front of others through games and other activities
