Learn about fabric dyeing techniques and experiment during hands-on activities.
Sessions 1 & 2 will be making a set of 4 napkins with Shibori – Japanese indigo dying using blocks, clamps, bands, etc for resistance dying.
Session 3 will be an experimentation using nature as dyes for fabric. We will do some eco-printing using leaves to make leaf prints on fabric. We’ll either make a scarf, tote bag or shirt TBD.
