This project will be an exercise in responsibly taking data and inventory of the natural world around the Bay Area. Participants will explore, investigate, notice and appreciate the natural beauty around them at each curated location. Responsible collection will include sunprints, flower and leaf pressing, bark rubbings, sketching, journaling, and other activities that promote curiosity and awareness. Participants will walk away from this project with a physical journal, bound with a devised cover, along with a deeper appreciation for Bay Area flora, fauna and landscapes.
